J231-Mission Mexico
Mission Mexico, ‘Giving Love, Life and Hope’, provides care for an average of 50 children. These children, aged between three and 17, have been orphaned, abandoned, abused and often come from extreme poverty. Over the past nine years, Mission Mexico has helped over 250 children from various circumstances of need.
Many of the children who arrive at the refuge have suffered unbelievable acts of violence against them and experienced things no child should.

Mission Mexico aims to develop these children to become responsible and contributing members of the community and hence, this project, will greatly benefit the development and future of the surrounding communities.

In 2008 we received grants from the Australian Embassy and others to buy furniture, appliances, mattresses, bedding, and playground equipment etc.

The project is monitored by Global Development Group USA.
