GDG Directors

Global Development Group is governed by the following board of Directors.

 

David James Pearson
Assoc Dip Bus Mgmt, CALU, AAII, MAICD

is a founding Director of Global Development Group and is Chairman of the Board. He has served on other Boards in the past. David is a management specialist with a background in risk assessment in the insurance industry where he is still employed.

Geoffrey Winston Armstrong
BSc, MBA, AFAMI, CMC, MAICD , MASQ

is an experienced Director and qualified Consultant. Since 2004 he has been directing the growth of Global Development Group.

The growth of Global Development Group requires constant management and governance attention.

In June 2011, our Executive Director Geoff Armstrong, has decided to relinquish his Lead Auditor qualifications which he has held for many years.
However he will retain his Management Consulting Qualifications (Principal grade) – which is at the highest level.
He also retains his Tax Agent Registration, membership of Australian Marketing Institute and member of Company Directors.
In scope of consulting he has been recognised in the areas of:

•Strategic – Business Planning
•Quality Assurance
•Total Quality Management
•Cultural Specific
•Accreditation 2
•Teaching and Training
•Occupational Health and Safety
•Management

Ofelia (Fe) Luscombe
BSc (Accounting), MBA

completed a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in accounting and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Fe is specialising in project management and is also the Manager of the Project Department.

 

Allan Benson
JP

Allan Benson joined the Board in 2005. Allan has vast experience within engineering sections of complex construction, mining and manufacturing companies, specialising in Occupational Health and Safety and Human Relations. He has been associated with the not for profit sector in Australia for many years.
 

David Robertson
BCompSc, MCP, CNE

has a wealth of experience and additional qualifications from a lifetime of working in the electronics and computer industries. David currently runs his own IT business with a strong commitment to customer service, and serving the local and global community through partnering with non profit organisations. As such, he has been an enthusiastic and long time member of GDG, and is committed to the vision of impacting the global community through the wider scope of humanitarian aid.
