To donate to your preferred project by cheque and receive a tax deduction*

Step 1: Make your cheque payable to:
“Global Development Group: Project J### [& Project Name if you wish]”

(where J### & Project Name is your preferred project number)

Step 2: Write a Note with the following details:
a). the total of your donation (should match the cheque)
b). preferred project and "J" number
c). the name and address to mail (or email) the receipt to,

Direct Deposit Donations

  • Ongoing regular deposits need to be arranged with your bank.
  • Please ensure you include the Donor's initials (i.e. J. Smith) & Project ‘J’ number n the description of the direct deposit – this will show on our bank statement & ensure identification.

Step 2: Email us your donation details
Email your donation details. Email is our preferred method of contact info@globaldevelopment.org.au.

We receive multiple direct deposit donations daily, so please ensure that you contact us with your donation details.

The donation details we need are:-

a) The name & address of the donor for receipting purposes and/or name on deposit description
b) The amount & date of the donation & the frequency e.g. monthly or once only
c) The preferred project & ‘J’ number

Please note: All donations over $2 to approved aid and development projects are tax deductible in Australia and USA.
The ATO requires: 1. If funds raised exceed the requirement for any project, the funds may be directed to a similar project, 2. Tax deductible donations are required to be unconditional gifts and accordingly Global Development Group cannot always guarantee that a donor's preference will be granted.
